Junior Sunfish Series
Date Result Description
7/3 1. Lexi Foster
2. Charlie Dugan
Very little wind from the N shifting around to the SW mid race. Charlie and Kitty complained that they had crossed the line already but the committee boat disagreed -- everything resolved. +20m wind switched to the SW and then back. +25m both reached the reaching mark at the same time.
7/10 1. Penny Herring
2. James McNay
3. Seth McNay
4. Matt Curtin
Another light wind day. James crossed the line early and had to go around again.
7/17 1. Seth McNay
2. Matt Curtin
3. Lexi Foster
4. James McNay
5. Eric Fishman
Heavier wind day with a 10-15 SW. Crazy start with some spar collisions between Lexi and Eric. Too much wind for James who was able to hold on on the windwards but roared by everyone on the reaches.
7/24 Races Canceled Very heavy SW morning. Blowing a good 15-20k at 8:30 and then freshened to 25k by 9:15 or so.

Senior Sunfish Series
Date Result Description
7/3 1. Tom Herring
2. Colin McNay
3. Andy Hawkins
4. Sandy Law
5. Carl Muehlmann
6. Don Jepson
SW did not hold as predicted. Reaching mark had been switched to the East after the junior race. Single triangle course because of the light winds, the late start, and the picnic. Wind swung to the East (of all things) mid race.
7/10 1. Colin McNay
2. Gray Watson
3. David Straus
4. Carl Muehlmann
5. Tom Herring
6. Charlie Doughan / Ian Baldwin
7. James McNay
8. Sandy Law
9. Don Jepson
10. Andy Hawkins
11. Seth McNay
Bit of a disaster from the race management. Gray decided before the race to only run a shortened triangle course because there was no wind. This was communicated to very few of the racers by the committee boat unfortunately. Because of the super light wind, the fleet had to wait for Colin to come up from home and did not give him enough time to get to the line. Right before the start the wind came up good from the SW meaning a reaching start and a fast course.
7/17 1. Gray Watson
2. Sandy Law
3. Colin McNay
4. Carl Muehlmann
5. Andy Hawkins
6. Ian Baldwin / Charlie Doughan
Heavy SW morning. Blowing a good 15-20k. Good tacking duel between Sandy and Gray from line to line. Andy would have done much better if his tiller extension hadn't broken just before the race. Colin would have done better if his sons hadn't abandoned him.
